Argo AH 2.2

ARGO AH 2.2 is a two seater helicopter 600 kg MTOW which is redefining the route to market for innovative helicopters. Manufaktura Lotnicza has pioneered a reimagined approach to delivering and supporting safe, exciting private light helicopters.

ARGO AH 2.2 has a three-blade nose rotor, which guarantees incredible stability in flight and excellent climb – up to 15 m/s. Thanks to its lightweight composite construction, it is quiet and powerful thanks to its modern Ulpower aircraft engine with 150 hp, it can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h.

It is incredibly maneuverable and rigid – the equivalent of a of a high-performance sports car. Its excellent performance and semi-rigid rotor design allow it to achieve excellent results.

– automatic governor with RPM corelator
– full cowlings with big luggage compartment
– UL Power aviation engine
– glasscocpit avionics GARMIN GX3
– 3 axis autopilot
– modern luxury interior
– High Inertia Carbon Rotor peaceful 100% autorotation

ARGO AH-22 has enough space to take two people on board.
It is powered by a modern150 hp UL Power engine or 160 HP ROTAX 916 iS
AH-22 is made for private owners, completely changing the previous
reality of helicopter operating costs. Calendar-based depreciation is essentially eliminated thanks to a long 2,000-hour TBO.

FEATURES

The engine is the most important, it is light and, powerful, designed as an aircraft engine with all systems doubled, it runs at a low speed of 3200- 3500 RPM, for a long life. ARGO AH 2.2. uses drive belts transmission from Robinson, proven and long life. Another key factor is the engine fairing. Airflow tests in the wind tunnel showed large disturbances forming behind the helicopters without engine cowlings, which limited speed and caused shimmying at higher speeds. The narrow engine fairing integrated into the cabin and large luggage compartment is a step forward.

Main rotor, blades made of carbon fiber with the center of gravity distributed toward the blade tip, the so-called High Inertia rotor, making autorotation much easier and safer, the blades have a leading edge made of metal. Also worth mentioning is the adjustable speed controller (governor), which works integrated with the mechanical correlator with possible power adjustment in the range of 300 RPM.
ARGO AH 2.2 has nice interiors and modern avionics built into the ergonomic instrument panel. Integrated active safety systems strobe lights that work together with the FLARM Airborne Warning System. New composite bucket ergonomic seats, premium leather and alcantara trim materials and GARMIN with 3-axis autopilot complete the package.

FAQ

Is the ARGO AH 2.2 a kit helicopter?
No. Traditional kit helicopters give you the ability to build the aircraft yourself away from the controlled environment of a factory with little supervision. ARGO AH 2.2 can only be built here in the Manufaktura Lotnicza aerospace manufacturing plant, with modern production equipment and carefully controlled production processes, while all owners are supported and guided by the highly qualified production staff. ARGO AH 2.2 purchase agreement requires owner-operators to attend our comprehensive factory workshop to complete the aircraft, learning valuable skills and knowledge about the aircraft, its systems and how to ensure it remains in flight condition . Manufaktura Lotnicza’s philosophy is to provide not only a luxury helicopter like no other, but also an ownership experience that increases your knowledge, skill, understanding and, above all, safety.
At all. To demonstrate the airworthiness of the ARGO AH 2.2, Manufaktura Lotnicza is required to fully comply with the EASA CS-VLR Very Light Rotorcraft (UK/European) regulations, both of which are the latest certification standards for normal category aircraft, as harmonized worldwide by ICAO. These are the exact standards that any new certified helicopter would need to meet to demonstrate airworthiness. The only factor that distinguishes the ARGO AH 2.2 from a traditionally certified aircraft is that Manufaktura Lotnicza has chosen to involve the owners in the production process. A key part is that not only is a great helicopter being sold, but the company is also equipping pilots with the skills and knowledge they need to be knowledgeable and safe helicopter owner-operators
Yes! Manufaktura Lotnicza submits all applications to receive unrestricted operational approval plus private operation for the aircraft in each country where it is purchased. Full compliance of the AH 2.2 with recognized certification standards together with increased fulfillment of amateur construction requirements, including approved maintenance and training programmes, will help speed up the process and secure approval in your country.
Absolutely not. All aircraft, from a home-built single-seater to the A380, must meet rigorous airworthiness and certification requirements. The ARGO AH 2.2 meets all the latest EASA and FAA requirements for very light helicopters, which in most cases are much more stringent than the light helicopters flying today and which have been certified to much older standards. A key difference within the amateur/experimental construction category is the owner’s involvement in the construction process. While this category allows owner-operators to build their own amateur-built aircraft at home and with limited supervision, Manufaktura Lotnicza categorically prohibits this practice. All aircraft are completely built in the company’s factory under the direct supervision of licensed professionals. In this way we can guarantee the highest level of safety, quality and airworthiness to guarantee complete customer satisfaction.
